New Grad practice exam

Linear practice exams for US RN · New Grad. Shorter adaptive run for calibration between full sessions. Same delivery pattern as CAT, with a reduced item budget. Region: US (New Grad RN: Transition to Practice).

Session setup

  • Question range: 85–150 items (adaptive length within this band)
  • Time estimate: 5 h
  • Time limit: 300 minutes (enforced in-app when timed mode is on)
  • Experience: Reduced item budget; timed; no backtracking unless explicitly enabled for the pathway.
  • Navigation: No backtracking after you submit an answer (exam-style).
  • Scoring: Results compare your estimated ability to a pathway passing-standard band (not a government or board certificate).

How CAT works

  • Shorter adaptive run with the same one-at-a-time delivery pattern as full CAT.
  • Item budget is capped lower than production-ready tracks; timer still applies.
  • Use the report to decide when to move up to a full-length simulation.

After the session

In the app you get a report-style breakdown: estimate band, category performance, strengths, focus areas, and links back into lessons, flashcards, and the question bank for weak topics.

Content inventory

Live question counts are temporarily unavailable. The in-app bank and CAT still use the same pathway filters (US region, plan tier for this track, exam codes: NCLEX-RN, NCLEX_RN).
